Queen Victoria's dear friend Anna Maria Russell, Duchess of Bedford was the originator of this beautiful tradition in which they both spent many an afternoon enjoying.
Served daily between 12pm - 5pm, there is no more quintessential English ritual than the ceremony and serving of Afternoon Tea.
