Moffat House is set just off the High Street in this delightful Victorian Spa town. A stunning country mansion, built for The Earl of Hopetoun in the 1750's, the hotel is set in 1.5 acres of grounds.
Moffat is great for a little potter about and then you can relax into a sumptuous afternoon tea in the hotel's atmospheric surroundings – And boy is it atmospheric! Along with sandstone pillars and a sweeping cantilevered staircase, it has the breathtaking Hopetoun Restaurant with gorgeous views across the grounds to a 260 year old oak tree.
